Vital Therapies Scores Clinical Success in China

Vital Therapies, Inc. (VTI) did not go to China for the usual reasons. “We were invited in by leading hepatologists in China,” said Chairman and CEO Terry Winters. VTI is developing the ELAD® (Extracorporeal Liver Assist Device) System, a medical device built around C3A cells that mimic liver function.
