aTyr Pharma of San Diego and Hong Kong Raises $12 Million

aTyr Pharma has raised $12 million in new funds to develop its lead candidate and continue its discovery operations. The company is using its proprietary technology to discover potential therapies for inflammation, autoimmune, hematopoietic and metabolic disorders. aTyr Pharma's novel technology involves a group of naturally occurring resected proteins (resectins) from aminoacyl tRNA synthetases.
