Sinotau Pharma Completes $152 Million E Round for Radiopharmaceutical Portfolio

Guangdong Sinotau Pharmaceuticals raised $152 million in its sixth funding round to support its portfolio of novel diagnostic and therapeutic radiopharmaceuticals for use in cardiovascular, neurodegenerative disease and cancer indications. The company’s first five rounds raised $128 million. Founded in 2005, the company began developing radiopharmaceuticals in 2014, when it entered a US JV to develop a diagnostic product for Alzheimer’s, sourced from Merck. Sinotau continues to hold China rights to the product along with a coronary heart disease diagnostic based on myocardial perfusion. One year ago, Tus-Pharmaceutical acquired Sinotau from Beijing Xiantongyuan Pharma for an undisclosed amount. More details....
